The site is intended as a landing place for those who have come across my beers in whatever way and wish to find out more about Whale Rock Brewing. I will try and keep the site fresh with information such as breweries of note, events, and news. I do not sell my beers. I drink them and share with friends and relatives.
Why Whale Rock...Look Below
Craftsmanship in the world of home beer brewing! How did I start? More than 10 years ago my daughter gifted me with a beer brewing kit and so it goes. Over time I have improved in my processing gear from a propane stove in the garage to automated electric boilers now inside my home. I have both a 7 gallon boiler (Anvil) and 10 gallon boiler (Brewers Edge). I had brewed for several years successfully with modest equipment which included a stainless kettle on a propane stove (actually a turkey fryer). And it worked fine, but winter garage chills were uncomfortable. I brew both all grain and extract kits. My leaning has always been Belgian wheat beers. I do not sell my beers, but share with friends and relatives. I've extended brewing to wild berry liqueurs such as blackberry, blueberry, and thimbleberry. The process is quite different and the berry picking is the most difficult part. As an aside my daughter is a wine certified expert and also a key beer sampler. She too brews berry liqueurs. So to any newcomers, give it a try. It is a rewarding hobby and you may never want to buy a beer again.

Welcome to Whale Rock Brewing USA Established 1984
Our Brewers, who art in the brewery, Hallowed be thy hops.
Thy fermentation come, Thy will be done, In bottles as it is on tap.
Give us this day our daily brew, And forgive us our spillages, As we forgive those who spill against us.
Lead us not into mass production, But deliver us from watery beer.
For thine is the malt, the hops, and the yeast, Forever and ever,
Ale-men.
